Required upon hire and annually thereafter for all faculty, staff, and students who may come into contact with human blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) in a clinical setting. This course satisfies the Biomedical Waste training requirement (there is no need to take UF_EH&S851). |

Recommended | This course covers step-by-step instructions on how to complete LATCH assessments, build lab rosters, track training, view inspection reports and close corrective actions. It is recommended for all new Lab Managers and Principal Investigators or for anyone who needs a refresher on how to navigate the Gator TRACS platform. |

Initial & Annual | Designed for faculty and staff required to wear a tight-fitting respirator as part of their job duties. Required initially and annually. In addition to this online course, participants must contact Environmental Health & Safety to make a fit test appointment. UF’s Respiratory Protection Program requires initial and annual tight-fitting 1) medical clearance, 2) training and 3) fit testing. Initial & Annual | Designed for individuals required to wear an N95 respirator as part of their job duties. Required initially and annually.
